Our 2025 Annual General Meeting was a resounding success, bringing together whānau, members, and supporters from across the motu in a truly positive and engaging way.

This year, we introduced a slightly different format, offering attendees the opportunity to experience our kaupapa more directly. As part of this, guided tours were held at our homes at Te Rauā and the orchard at Whakapau. These visits gave people a chance to see firsthand the spaces and initiatives that underpin our work, and to connect more deeply with the vision and values of Tātau Tātau o Te Wairoa.

Around 30 people took part in the tours, while overall attendance at the AGM reached 156. We were especially pleased to welcome 11 new registrations, reflecting continued growth and interest in our kaupapa.

It was encouraging to see such a balanced and diverse turnout, with a strong representation across Kāhui, gender, and age groups. Attendees travelled from various regions, representing seven different iwi, all coming together to share their voices, perspectives, and aspirations.

The energy in the room was vibrant and inclusive, reinforcing the strength of our collective and the importance of creating spaces where everyone feels heard and valued. We extend our heartfelt thanks to all who attended and contributed to making this year’s AGM such a meaningful occasion.
