Whai Mātauranga Scholarship: Applications Open

Tātau Tātau o Te Wairoa Trust is pleased to announce Whai Mātauranga is now live for applications for 2026.

We're offering scholarship grants to help you further your goals, whether it's in education, getting qualified for a certification, a credential, or up-skilling. You are eligible to apply if you are a member of Tātau Tātau o Te Wairoa.

This year we are offering scholarships in 3 categories:

• Up to $1,200 for those who reside in the rohe
• Up to $500 for those who reside outside the rohe
• $300 for those attending Māori boarding schools

Applications will close on:  29 May 2026

We will be processing the applications following the close date and will be letting applicants know if they have been successful as soon as we are able to.
