Why should I register?

Because as a descendant through your whakapapa you are entitled to become a beneficiary of this Settlement! Our Settlement will enable a better future for our whānau and more importantly for our future generations – our tamariki and mokopuna. Like our ancestors did for us, we are trying to leave what we have in a better place for our future generations.

How will I benefit from the Settlement?

The Settlement acknowledges that our land was taken, so we can move forward to regain our mana over our land, our Reo, and improve our opportunities for education, health and well-being.

Tātau Tātau o Te Wairoa is our Post-Settlement Governance Entity (PSGE) and is currently working through planning for how the Settlement is used and managed. We will keep you updated of any opportunities that might be of benefit.

How can I stay updated on what’s happening?

Keep an eye out for our regular pānui on our website and Facebook page.

We are committed to communicating with all our Iwi, Hapū and Whānau. We will try to come back to you as soon as we can to answer any questions.
